I teach the sweetest first and second graders in the Dolphin's classroom. This marks my fifth year at Ocean Studies and my eleventh year in teaching overall. Before joining this wonderful school, I spent six years teaching first and second grade in Broward County.
In 2012, I proudly earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University. I hold certifications in Elementary Education K-6, Exceptional Student Education K-12, and I have endorsements in Reading K-12 and ESOL.
Being a true Floridian, I was born and raised in South Florida before moving to the Keys four years ago. Discovering Ocean Studies felt like finding a hidden gem – the hands-on experiences and real-world learning captivated me. I knew instantly that it was the perfect place for me and my daughters.
Outside of school, you'll find me cherishing moments with my husband, our three lovely daughters, two dogs, and three cats! I enjoy paddle boarding, exploring the depths while scuba diving, and simply unwinding on the beach. Life here is a relaxing paradise!
