Jillian French

Hi!  My name is Jillian French. I am a Key Largo resident (for the second time!) with a combined eleven years as a proud member of the community. I am a mother to three, wife and Montessori educator.  Years prior to joining the Ocean Studies family I spent time as an assistant teacher/paraprofessional in a few other Montessori schools where I discovered my passion for helping children and the Montessori style of teaching.  Ocean Studies' stellar reputation in town, hands on learning, weekly field labs, and attention and care for each student as an individual are a few of the reasons I chose to join OSCS as a tracher and mother.  This is currently my third year at Ocean Studies co-teaching the first and second grade dolphin class as a certified lower elementary Montessori teacher. I have a passion for helping children achieve their academic goals, modeling and guiding them with the Montessori method and materials and providing them with a nurturing environment where they feel safe, happy and loved each day.
