I teach 3rd and 4th grade in the Rays’ classroom, and it is my second year teaching. I have earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Florida and a M.S. in Educational Psychology from Purdue Global University. I love teaching and am passionate about making a difference in children’s’ lives. My favorite part of teaching is making connections with students and seeing them grow! I was inspired to join the team at Ocean Studies when I discovered the hands-on learning that takes place at this school. I am a firm believer that hands-on learning is motivating, allows students to be creative individuals, and makes learning fun! I am originally from Fernandina Beach, Florida and moved to Key Largo 7 years ago. I have a 3 year old dog named Tiki and a 9 year old cat named Mango. I love spending time on the water either boating or paddle boarding, and enjoy being outside. I also love traveling and new experiences!
