After School Care Programs

Ocean Studies Charter School offers after school care daily except on early release days, scheduled holidays, and teacher work days. After Care is open until 5:30pm. Students that attend after care may still attend after school clubs. Students may bring a snack and participate in outdoor play, arts and crafts, and games.

• Monthly Plan

  Significant savings are available to your family by enrolling in an Monthly Plan. Families electing this option for the 2023-2024 school year will be asked to make a monthly payment the first week of school.  After that, payments begin at the start of month beginning September. This allows their children to participate the days our school is in session and is a full-day.  The Annual Plan may be terminated at the end of any month during the school year by notifying the school.

• Drop-In/Daily Rate

  While our program is designed to serve families who need on-going child care by the school, we understand that emergency situations do arise where you may be unable to pick your child up within 30 minutes of dismissal. Should your child require supervision until a later time (no later than 5:30pm), the parent or guardian must notify the school prior to 3:15 and a daily child care fee will be assessed. Payment is due the following morning to the front office. If a family accrues more than five unpaid "drop-in" days, the child may no longer attend the program until their account is paid.
